Hebrews 11:8 ~ Where did Abraham’s faith come from? Pastor Rod Bunton teaches about the faith of Abraham that was demonstrated by his response to God’s calling.

Hebrews 11:7 ~ Noah is described as a “preacher of righteousness” in 2 Peter 2:5 and in this passage, the writer of Hebrews says that Noah “condemned the world” in his righteous obedience. Pastor Rod Bunton explains that God condemns the unrighteous to His wrath while providing, like He did for Noah, a way of escape.

Hebrews 11:7 ~ Noah’s reverent fear of God motivated him to stand alone among all the people on earth. Pastor Rod Bunton teaches how Noah’s conviction of things never before seen proved his faith.

Hebrews 11:5-6 ~ Pastor Rod Bunton reminds us of Enoch who, it is said, “walked with God.” In one of the most unusual events in early biblical history, Enoch’s faith and obedience pleased God so much that he did not die and was taken up to heaven.

Hebrews 11:4 ~ Pastor Rod Bunton teaches about the first of the faithful heroes listed in Chapter 11 wherein we learn how the way of Cain is against the way of God.
